· Current State Board License, in good standing

· Current DEA Registration, in good standing

· Current with the Continuing Medical Education (“CME”) licensure requirements

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Chain of Command

· Report directly to Chief Medical Officer

· Report administratively to the Aegis Treatment Centers (“ATC”) Clinic Manager

· Work in collaboration with all ATC Department Directors – in general, and with ATC Directors of Medical & Clinical Services and Operations – in particular

· Work in collaboration with the ATC clinic’s staff members, including nurses, counselors, and medical assistants

· Respond professionally, accurately and promptly to the ATC Director of Quality Assurance & Licensing inquiries

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

As physician and medical director of our opioid treatment clinic, you would be responsible for:

· The initial medical evaluation; completing the intake documentation

· Review/approval of initial needs assessment and treatment plan/amendments

· Conducting follow-up consultations

· Adjustment of medication dosages

· Ordering and review of lab work

Making referrals

· Active participation in case conferences.

Physicians will go through a training period to familiarize themselves with all related regulatory requirements as well as Aegis' policies, protocols and EMR.
